A little history
After being a printing pressman for many years the industry has taken twists and turns and not for the better. Annual reports , college view books, newspapers, all going online and sheetfed offset printing with the exception of packaging being replaced by shorter run digital printing .The once booming industry back in the 80’s and 90’s has changed forever.
In the meantime I’ve always enjoyed being creative with projects Carpentry mostly and learning as I went along aspects of all hands on trades.
The Ad
It all started with a simple ad I posted on Craigslist years back .Things were slow in work and I was looking for some side work to supplement my income while the printing industry was winding down . The title of the ad read .........
Guy with Truck
the content offered general handyman work , help with moving etc.
I got a few responses....accepted a few jobs ...and it all began.
Return calls and show up
From there on without posting additional ads I got referrals....and the referrals continue. At this point I have many long time customers completing multiple projects for most. I’ve been fortunate to have this client base mostly from being responsive . Return phone calls ,show up when you say you will, and do what you said you would do. It’s that simple
